L&D RN – Night Shift | 36 Hours/Week

Hi,

I have an L&D RN opportunity available at a hospital in Washington.

Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Weekend Requirement: Friday & Saturday nights
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Charting System: Epic

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience
• LDRP experience required
• Must be comfortable independently attending deliveries, assisting with baby delivery and transition, and circulating in C-sections
• Must be able to care for postpartum patients and newborns
• Required Certifications: BLS and NRP
• Must be comfortable titrating Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Active license required to submit; willing to wait for a license
• Two years of references required with submission

Unit Details:

• Birthing Center / Mother-Baby / L&D
• 13 L&D beds, 2 C-section OR suites, 2 triage beds, and 14 postpartum beds
• Patient population: 32 weeks gestation and above, including high-risk pregnancies
• EPIC charting system
• No floating outside the department or to NICU

Additional Information:

• Block scheduling may be available upon request
• Holiday rotation required
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
