2. Schedule & Hours

• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekends: Required
• Call: Required
• Holidays: Required
• Call Response Time: Must arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of being called in.

3. Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or recognized Certified Surgical Technologist program.
• Surgical technologist certification required.
• BLS required.
• Previous travel assignment experience.
• Orthopedic surgery experience.
• Hands-on surgical scrubbing experience.
• Da Vinci robotic surgery experience.
• Must be willing to precept new staff if asked.

4. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and surgical equipment.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection-control procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean, sterilize, and disinfect operating-room equipment and instruments.
• Assist with patient preparation and delegated nursing care under RN supervision.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes during surgical procedures.
• Support departmental duties as assigned.
