MRI Technologist – Grant Medical Center

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4 × 9.5 hours (9:00 PM–6:30 AM)

Requirements

• 2 years of experience; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered with strong Level I/large-hospital experience.
• Siemens MRI scanner experience.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification.
• BLS certification.
• Epic experience required.
• Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility.

Schedule & Call

• Every third weekend listed; facility notes say every other weekend — confirm.
• Holidays assigned; facility notes say every other holiday.
• 3 weekday daytime call shifts per month.
• 1 weekend call every 12 weeks.
• Guaranteed hours not specified.

Clinical Details

• Neuro, MSK and abdominal MRI.
• Breast MRI, enterography and patients with pacemakers.
• ICU patients scanned regularly.
• No conscious sedation.
• Cardiac MRI, prostate MRI, CSF flow studies and MSA extremity studies are not performed.
• Siemens 1.5T Aera scanners.
• Charcoal-grey scrubs.

Preferred

• Cardiac experience is a major plus.
• IV-start experience strongly preferred.

Submission & Compliance

• Pre-closed candidates required.
• SSN and DOB required at submission.
• Include start date, RTO and schedule requests.
• Maximum 10 days RTO; no RTO during initial weeks.
• Lab work within 48 hours of signing.
• EKG/dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing.
• Approximately 12 hours of non-billable pre-start modules.
• References not required.
• Travelers are first to float.
• Free parking.
• COVID vaccine not required; flu requirement unknown.
