Description

Rotating weekends and holidays
Float between 4–6 Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units
Block scheduling is not available
As a Float Pool RN, you'll provide care across multiple Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units, caring for a diverse patient population while supporting staffing needs throughout the hospital.
Staffing Ratios
1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of current, strong Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool experience
• MD or compact license in hand – no exceptions!
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• MEDITECH experience preferred
• Must be able to independently interpret cardiac rhythms (required)
