CLINICAL INTERVIEW W/MGR APPROVAL

Call schedule dependent on staffing – Expect to be placed on call during the week or weekend (may include multiple days/weekends a month)

Weekend Call - will be on call from Friday 2300 to Monday 0700 - *start time subject to unit needs, may be 3pm
Weekday Call - will be on call from 2300 – 0630 - *start time subject to unit needs, may be 3pm
Response Time: 30 min

Exp Required:  1 yr.  Will NOT accept first time traveler

Required Licensure and Certifications:  BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI/MOAB – all certifications must be in hand, prior to submission

EMR: Epic

Case Types:  Ages: Peds and Adults.  GYN.  General.  Robotics: Bariatric, Prostate, Hernia, Gallbladder, Hysterectomy.  Urology.  Ortho.  Ortho/Spine
Podiatry.  Cataracts.  ENT.  ENDO: Colon, EGD, ERCP, Bronchoscopy
Vascular

Skills required:   Comfortability with the above case types – must have experience in ALL.  Critical Care experience and competencies with ICU cases including hemodynamic drips and ventilated patients.  Comfortability with Preop, Recovery and Discharge of patients.  Comfortability to have boarded patients if hospital census is full and there are no inpatient beds available.  IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural/PCA set up/initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions

Floating:  Will float throughout the unit – Preop, PACU - Phase 1 and Phase 2
