RN Med-Onc/Leukemia Unit - Assignment Summary

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Oncology/Leukemia Unit
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s)
Schedule: Weekends and holidays as needed
On-Call: None
Float: Possible

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years acute adult inpatient oncology experience specializing in Leukemia & Lymphoma
Preferred: 5 years' experience
Education: ASN required, BSN preferred

Required Skills

IV therapy skills
Chemotherapy administration
Telemetry monitoring
Acute oncology nursing experience
Empathy and compassion

Certifications & Licenses

NJ State RN License or Multi-State Compact License
BLS (AHA)
Chemotherapy Certification (ONS) / Chemotherapy Administration

Unit Details

Adult inpatient Oncology unit focused on Leukemia and Lymphoma patients
Navy blue scrubs

Candidate Highlights

✅ 2+ years acute inpatient adult oncology experience required
✅ Leukemia/Lymphoma experience required
✅ Chemo administration certification/experience required
✅ BLS (AHA) required
✅ NJ RN License or Compact License required
✅ Must be comfortable floating if needed
✅ Night shift (3x12s) with weekend/holiday rotation as needed.
