Registered Nurse - Family Birthing Center / Labor & Delivery (L&D RN) – Night Shift

Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
- Schedule Structure: 12-hour night shifts. Schedules posted 4 weeks in advance.
- Weekend Coverage: 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block (Friday/Saturday nights).
- Holiday Coverage: Mandatory holiday coverage (must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). Holiday time-off requests will be considered but are not guaranteed.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]:
- Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Labor & Delivery experience required (3 years preferred; minimum 1 year of LDRP experience strictly required) [HARDSTOP].
- Will accept L&D-only RNs strictly if they have verified C-section circulating experience. Candidates with ONLY Postpartum experience are strictly rejected [HARDSTOP].
- Newborn Delivery & Stabilization Competency: Must be comfortable and experienced taking the NRP/resuscitation role ("catching the baby") at delivery due to no in-house pediatric coverage [HARDSTOP].
- Clinical proficiency in Pitocin continuous drip titration strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Mandatory Floating: Must be willing to float to all Sacramento area sister facilities [HARDSTOP].
State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active California RN License strictly required in-hand at time of submission [HARDSTOP].
Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Active AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification strictly required [HARDSTOP].
