Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing medication orders, preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring medication safety, and supporting effective pharmaceutical care for hospitalized patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process medication orders for inpatient patients.
• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Perform sterile compounding, IV preparation, IV piggyback, and IV push medication preparation.
• Assist with total parenteral nutrition (TPN) preparation and medication dosing.
• Monitor drug interactions, therapeutic drug levels, and potential adverse reactions.
• Perform renal, cardiac, pediatric, geriatric, and pharmacokinetic dosing as appropriate.
• Support anticoagulation therapy and high-alert medication management.
• Provide pharmaceutical care for patients with various medical conditions.
• Maintain accurate medication records and follow established pharmacy procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote safe medication use.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license.
• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) qualification.
• BLS certification.
• Relevant inpatient or acute-care pharmacy experience.
