Position Details

- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts, weekend days

- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Local Candidates: Not eligible for a travel contract if their permanent residence is within 50 miles of the facility
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT-MR).
- BLS certification.
- Valid Washington State license or eligible compact license in hand at submission, as applicable.
- Siemens MRI experience.
- Ability to work independently in a weekend setting.
- Experience performing both MRI and X-ray procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations for emergency, acute care, and outpatient patients.
- Perform X-ray procedures involving the head, chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, and upper and lower extremities.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate.
- Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions.
- Support emergency and trauma imaging needs.
- Work with a weekend assistant who helps with examinations, patient transport, and orders.
Equipment & Workload
- MRI Equipment: Siemens Magnetom Aera.
- Average Workload: Approximately 6–9 examinations per day.
- Charting System: Epic listed as a preferred system.
