Description
Building: St. David's North Austin Medical Center
Floor: 1st floor-PACU
Discipline: Post Anesthesia Care Recovery
Call Requirements: 2-4 shifts per 4 week schedule
Weekends: Call only- included with call requirements
· Number of Beds -16
· Number of Staff – 12
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 11 day nurses
o Night Shift – 1 night nurse
· Patient Ratios – 2:1 or 1:1
· Type of equipment – IV pumps, Arterial lines, Bipaps, Chest tubes; Bladder scan, Doppler for pulse checks
· EMR – Meditech
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· PALS & ACLS
· Phase 1 experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· Meditech experience
· Critical care experience

· Nerve blocks
· Lumbar punctures
· Chest tube placement
