Hours: 40 Hours Guaranteed (5x8s)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR Pre-Op experience
• Strong PACU and Peri-Op background required
• Phase I and Phase II PACU experience required
• Experience with sedation and critical drips
• Telemetry interpretation skills required
• Ability to prepare both patients and rooms for surgery
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties required
• BSN preferred

Certifications & Licensure

• Massachusetts RN License (permanent license required at submission)
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)

Important Facility Requirements

• Must work five 8-hour shifts
• No block scheduling
• No 10- or 12-hour shift accommodations
• Must be willing to float and precept as needed
• Maximum 5 days RTO accepted
• All RTO must be disclosed at submission
• Traveler must have own vehicle
• Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Permanent address must be included in profile

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years of recent PACU and Pre-Op experience
• Strong Phase I & II recovery experience
• Comfortable with sedation management, critical drips, and telemetry monitoring
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties
• Able to float between facilities and precept staff when needed
• Committed to a 40-hour work week (5x8s)
• Lives outside the 50-mile radius requirement
• Flexible with holiday coverage if needed
