Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis

Rochester, New York

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4 × 10-hour shifts
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Experience Required: 1 year
Charting System: Epic
Required Certification: BLS
Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted

Position Requirements

Must have an active New York RN license in hand.
Previous Epic charting experience is required.
Dialysis experience in an acute-care inpatient setting.
Experience initiating and setting up dialysis treatments.
Ability to cannulate AV fistulas and AV grafts.
Experience caring for patients with acute kidney injury, acute renal failure, and patients receiving hemodialysis.
Knowledge of dialysis equipment, vascular access care, infection control, and management of dialysis-related complications.

Important Eligibility Requirement

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility. A New York RN license in hand and Epic experience are mandatory.
