RN Med-Surg Float | North Adams, MA

Start Date: 11/23/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 Hours Guaranteed (3x12s)
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Holiday Coverage: Required if needed
On-Call: None

Requirements

• 2 years of current Med-Surg experience
• 2 years of CCU and/or ED experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Willingness to float required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course strongly preferred
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Certifications & License Required

• Massachusetts RN License (must be in hand at submission)
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• NRP

All certifications must be in hand at profile submission.

Unit Information

• Float position
• Personal scrubs of any color

Important Facility Requirements

• Must be willing to float
• ED/CCU experience required
• No block scheduling
• 48-hour guarantee not available
• Maximum 5 days RTO accepted
• All RTO must be disclosed at submission
• Must provide at least 2 specific interview date/time options
• Traveler must have own vehicle
• Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Permanent address must be included in the profile

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years of current Med-Surg experience
• Recent ED and/or CCU experience
• Strong Telemetry skills
• Comfortable floating between units
• Holds MA RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and NRP
• Flexible with weekends, holidays, and unit floating
• Lives outside the 50-mile radius requirement
• Able to commit to a 36-hour night schedule for the full assignment.
