Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – ICU

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Facility Type: 733-bed short-term acute care, teaching hospital
Trauma Level: Level III
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week
Guaranteed Hours: Contracted shifts are guaranteed after the allowance of 2 call-offs per 13-week assignment is used.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of applicable experience
Active state or compact license required at submission
Epic experience required
Must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric ICU patients
Travel experience requirement not specified
No license or background actions within the past 12 months
Local candidates living within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible

Job Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory therapy care to adult and pediatric ICU patients
Work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
Float to other units or affiliated campuses as needed
Follow hospital protocols and document care in Epic

Schedule & Time-Off Rules:

Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required
No call
No block scheduling
Maximum of 4 days of requested time off (RTO)
No holiday RTO accepted per the main posting; another section mentions one major holiday may be requested, so confirm with the facility
Any missed scheduled shifts may require makeup shifts
Interview availability must be provided with submission
