Job Details

Position: Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Charting System: Epic
PACS: Phillips/PACS equipment listed

Shift Options

Day Shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts, listed as 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Night Shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts, listed as 7:00 PM–5:00 AM
Weekend Coverage: No weekend coverage listed
On-Call: Voluntary; appreciated but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and specialized X-ray procedures across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
Operate C-arm equipment during surgical procedures.
Perform portable and bedside imaging, including in the ER and hospital units.
Work with patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions.
Use appropriate imaging protocols and document procedures accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience.
Active ARRT(R) certification.
Washington State radiology license in hand.
BLS certification.
Experience with general X-ray procedures and surgical C-arm operation.
Epic charting experience is required.

Preferred Experience

Community hospital experience.
Level I or Level II trauma experience.
Experience with portable imaging and emergency department procedures.
Familiarity with PACS and imaging equipment from Philips, GE, Siemens, or Toshiba.

Responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. Saket was helpful throughout the process, answered my questions, and assisted me with securing a travel nursing assignment. I appreciated his willingness to help and keep me informed.

Cons

Frequent and persistent phone calls, even during my sleeping hours, despite having already explained my work schedule and availability. As a night-shift nurse, I would appreciate more consideration of my rest hours and better communication through text or email when matters are not urgent.
