Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 14-week Med-Surg travel assignment at a hospital in Augusta, GA. The nurse will provide care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on a non-critical-care medical-surgical unit with remote telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs and blood glucose, and document care in Epic.
• Administer medications, provide IV therapy, and manage peripheral lines.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, provide oxygen therapy, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Participate in emergency responses and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain infection-control standards and follow appropriate isolation precautions.
• Float to similar units as needed, within the nurse’s scope of practice.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous Epic experience is mandatory.
• Charge RN experience is required per the job overview.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
• Every other weekend required; no on-call requirement.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• Flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions permitted.
