We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise nursing care for residents at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home, a long-term care facility in Hilo, Hawaii.

The RN will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, developing individualized care plans, administering nursing care, and evaluating residents' progress. The role also includes supervising LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other nursing personnel to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and consistent care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health conditions and ongoing nursing needs.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Administer nursing care, medications, and treatments as appropriate.
• Monitor residents' conditions and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and other staff to maintain continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow facility care standards.
• Promote residents' safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Available Shifts
Day, evening, and night shifts are available. The assigned shift will be discussed during the interview process.
