Job Description

CenterPoint Health is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures, with a strong emphasis on cardiac imaging. The ideal candidate will have experience with IV placement, cardiac imaging, and nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures across a broad range of clinical conditions.
• Conduct cardiac imaging studies and related procedures.
• Perform IV placement as required for imaging procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and ensure proper imaging quality.
• Follow established radiation safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine or a related qualifying program.
• Current CNMT certification.
• At least 2 years of experience preferred.
• Experience with IV placement and cardiac imaging required.
• Cardiac QGS/QPS experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Dress Code: Black scrubs; Crocs are not permitted.

Schedule & Additional Information

• No weekend shifts.
• No on-call requirements.
• No floating requirements.
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
• Travelers must have all required certifications before starting.
