Description
NOW HIRING: Progressive Care RN (PCU)
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Position Details:
- 15-bed unit with progressive care and telemetry patients.
- Patient ratios: 1:4 in Progressive Care and 1:3 in Step-Down ICU.
- Primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, telemetry strip interpretation, and fingerstick blood glucose testing.
- Equipment includes Meditech charting, Pyxis, BiPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring.
- Floating to other acute care units, including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, ICU, and ER, may be required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of recent hospital acute care experience within the last year.
- Active Hawaii RN License required by the start date. Candidates without a license must apply upon offer acceptance.
- Progressive Care and telemetry experience.
- ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
