POSITION TITLE

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NM Tech)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience – Mandatory.
• Cardiac imaging and general Nuclear Medicine studies – Mandatory.
• Epic experience within the last 18 months – Mandatory. Must be clearly documented on the candidate's profile, including the facility where Epic was used.
• Previous travel experience – Highly preferred.
• Community hospital experience – Preferred.
• Must be proficient in:
  • Nuclear cardiology and pharmacological stress studies.
  • MUGA, HIDA, gastric emptying and V/Q scans.
  • IV insertion and venous blood collection.
  • Safe handling, storage and disposal of radioactive materials.
• Equipment: GE Millennium Nuclear Medicine camera with Xeleris and ISCV software.
• Patient population: Adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

SCHEDULE

• Shift: Days, Monday–Friday.
• Hours: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
• Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts (40 scheduled hours weekly).

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• CNMT – Mandatory.
• BLS – Mandatory.

Both certifications must be current and in hand at submission.

LICENSE

• The general compliance template states that an active Tennessee or compact license is required at submission.
