Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location: Big Spring, TX 79720
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12 or 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 36/48-hour alternating schedule

Pay Details:
Week 1 (36 Hrs.)= $1,992/Week
Week 2 (48 Hrs.)= $2,575/Week
 

Requirements:

• 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS preferred
• License in hand required at submission
• RTO required with submission
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Every other weekend
• No call
• Block scheduling
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Description:

• Work a 36/48-hour alternating schedule on night shift
• Provide care for a broad patient population in a 10-bed Med/Surg unit
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood products, peripheral lines, and port management
• Manage patients requiring oxygen therapy and BiPAP/CPAP
• Experience with heparin, insulin, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and PCA preferred
• MS/Tele and telemetry experience preferred
• Assist with cardiac monitoring and rapid response/code situations
• Must be available for every-other-weekend coverage
• No call required
