Description
Internal Job Description
12 hour shifts, 7a-7p or 7p -7a, every other weekend and every other holiday.
NO RTO.
Floating are medsurg or tele.
MS RN with 2+ years of experience required.
Ratios: 5:1 7a-11p, 6:1 11p-7a.
Tele is 4:1 7a-11p and 5:1 11p-7a for ratios.
It is self-scheduling; however, I balance the schedule, and I typically plug travelers into the holes.
If they have special requests, I am happy to try and accommodate.

Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any “on-call” time worked.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
