Description
Job Title: Radiographer
Address: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Shift: Overnight
Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 nights per week
Hours per week: 36
Hours per day: 12
Additional Requirement: One on-call shift per month
General Description:
Under the immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor or preceptor, this entry-level position develops the competencies required to provide specialized radiologic and/or cardiovascular technology services to adult and pediatric patients. The role supports medical staff in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring various medical conditions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of radiologic or cardiovascular technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics, as applicable to the assignment.
- Understanding of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to apply fundamental radiologic or cardiovascular technology principles and techniques.
Required Education:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program specializing in cardiovascular technology; or
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited educational program specializing in radiologic technology.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Must meet eligibility requirements and published standards for ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI in the specialty required by the hiring department. The required credential must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
