Facility: NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County Hospital
Location: 451 Clarkson Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203
Job Type: Contract
Contract Duration: November 18, 2026 – February 20, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8.5 hours per day, with a 1-hour lunch
Shift Time: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $90–$95 per hour

Job Summary

NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care, assist with cardiac procedures, and train and mentor nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
Monitor patients and support conscious sedation.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
Precept and train staff members in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Follow clinical protocols and maintain patient safety.

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Active New York State RN license.
Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
Experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Preferred: Master's degree in Education.
