Location: Los Angeles, California
Estimated Weekly Gross Package: $2,611 for 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: November 17, 2026 — fixed start date
Shifts Available: 4 Day Shift openings | 2 Night Shift openings
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Job Description

Halcyon Nurse Staffing is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses for a Med Tele Float assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Nurses will primarily care for ED Boarders and float to Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MST) units as needed.

Candidates must be adaptable, comfortable working with diverse patient acuity levels, and able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Regular Pay: $19.50/hour × 24 hours = $468/week

Overtime Pay: $29.25/hour × 12 hours = $351/week
Meal Allowance: $75/day = $525/week
Lodging Reimbursement: $181/day = $1,267/week

Compensation is based on the provided 36-hour pay breakdown. Stipend eligibility and payment are subject to applicable requirements. Requirements Active California RN license Minimum 2 years of Telemetry RN experience Previous travel nursing experience Experience across diverse acuity settings, including Level I/II facilities, critical access hospitals, and community hospitals Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications Current NIHSS certification Flexibility to float between ED Boarders and MST units as needed Scheduling and Time-Off Policy Must be available to start November 17, 2026 13-week contract only Day and night shift openings available 36- or 48-hour schedules available Hours are generally guaranteed, subject to the facility's allowance to cancel up to three shifts over the 13-week contract Requested time off: Maximum of 7 days total, including no more than 1 holiday Holiday time-off requests will not be prioritized Apply Now Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated resume and copies of their current certifications.
