Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

On-Call Requirement: Mandatory every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Certifications: ARRT(R), active New York State Radiologic Technologist license, and BLS.
• Experience: Previous experience in both Interventional Radiology (IR) and Neurointerventional Radiology is required.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic IR and Neuro IR procedures.
• Support angiography, embolization, clot retrievals, coilings, spinal injections, myelograms, and ablations.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and follow established imaging protocols.
• Maintain sterile technique and comply with radiation safety standards.
• Perform equipment quality assurance checks and maintain procedure supplies.
• Assist with student and resident training when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, scheduling, and procedure coding.
• Follow hospital policies, patient confidentiality requirements, and incident-reporting procedures.

Schedule & On-Call Details

• Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Working hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Weekend call: Required every other weekend.
• Call period: Friday at 4:30 PM through Monday at 7:30 AM.
• Response time: Must report to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called in.
