Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool (Med-Surg / Tele RN) – Day Shift

• Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:00 | 36 Hours per Week
  • Schedule Structure: 12-hour day shifts.
  • Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Standard float pool rotational schedule guidelines apply.
  • On-Call / Standby: Standard department schedule guidelines apply.

• Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]:
  • Minimum 6 months to 3 years (or 5+ years preferred direct clinical experience) of dedicated nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • Previous acute care clinical nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • Verified clinical experience managing Med-Surg and Telemetry patient populations strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • EMR Proficiency: Hands-on Epic EMR experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • Mandatory Floating: Candidate must be fully willing and documented to float across all Med-Surg and Telemetry units [HARDSTOP].
• Education Requirements [HARDSTOP]:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Minimum Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred) [HARDSTOP].
• State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
  • Active New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License strictly required IN-HAND at time of submission [HARDSTOP].
• Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
  • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
