$40–$45 per Hour | Full-Time | School-Based
Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff!
PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students in a therapeutic school setting in the South Holland, IL area. This position involves providing nursing care and supporting students with complex medical, behavioral, and special education needs.
Position Details
- Location: South Holland, IL area
- Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day
- Hours: 40 hours per week, full-time
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
- End Date: June 3, 2027
- Setting: Therapeutic school, 1:1 and classroom nursing support
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and medical support to students with special needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with toileting, hygiene, and personal care needs.
- Assist with student lifting, transfers, and mobility support.
- Support students with challenging behaviors and behavioral interventions.
- Monitor student health, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and special education staff.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois LPN license required.
- Comfortable assisting with student lifting, toileting, and behavioral needs.
- Previous pediatric, school nursing, or special education experience preferred.
