Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Independence, OR
$50–$58 per Hour | Part-Time | School-Based
Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff!
PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students in the Independence, OR area for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time opportunity offers a collaborative school environment where you'll help students develop essential speech, language, and communication skills.
Position Details
- Location: Independence, OR
- Pay Rate: $50–$58 per hour
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 22 hours per week
- Position Type: 0.5 FTE
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Caseload: Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Setting: In-person, school-based
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K–12 students.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
- Support students with speech, language, fluency, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary evaluations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing as applicable.
- Provide consultation and communication strategies to classroom staff.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Active Oregon SLP license or eligibility for licensure required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates may be considered.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
