Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg / Telemetry

Start Date:

• The only available start date is December 7, 2026, unless the RN is a returning Genesis traveler who has worked at this facility within the past 9 months.

Job Requirements:

• Hospital experience is mandatory. Candidates without hospital experience will not be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of current or recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is required.
• Must be proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry rhythms. Candidates will be tested on their telemetry competency on the first day. Failure to pass the assessment will result in termination.
• Current Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory. Candidates must be able to use Epic independently. Refresher classes and one-on-one training are not available.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Schedule:

• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: No on-call requirements

Unit & Responsibilities:
The RN will primarily work on the 4 South Cardiac Unit and may occasionally float to other Med-Surg units, including:

• Wound Care
• Stroke
• Oncology
• Respiratory
• Observation
• ED/Med-Surg boarders

Important Notes:

• Candidates must have strong telemetry skills and current Epic proficiency.
• Nurses who cannot pass the telemetry competency assessment or are found to lack the required Epic proficiency will be terminated.
• Please ensure that current Epic proficiency is clearly documented in the candidate's referral information at the time of submission.
