Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Rotating days, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Weekends: Occasional weekends required
• Holidays: Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Review patients’ medical histories, physician notes, clinical indications, and previous cardiac imaging.
• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and obtain high-quality cardiac images.
• Conduct Doppler studies to assess cardiac function, blood flow, valve disorders, and hemodynamics.
• Perform Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS) imaging.
• Identify abnormal findings and potential cardiac pathology.
• Administer ultrasound-enhancing contrast agents when required and authorized.
• Assist cardiologists with Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Perform advanced imaging, including 3D echocardiography.
• Document findings and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
• Complete exam and contrast billing documentation as applicable.
• Follow IAC echocardiography imaging standards.
• Maintain professional development and perform other assigned duties.
