Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts

Shift Timing: Start between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM; end between 1:45 PM and 5:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certification: BLS (AHA)

BSN: Not required

License: Required for submission

EMR: Paragon

Orientation: One week

Average Cases: Approximately 9 per day

Clinical Requirements

• Must have experience in the following specialties:
  • General surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • OB/GYN
  • Urology
  • Podiatry
  • Cardiology, including pacemakers and lead revisions
• Must have experience covering Pre-surgery/PATT, OR, and PACU.
• Scrubbing is not required for RNs.
• Nurses cover all three areas as needed.
• Four OR suites are available, with three typically running concurrently.

Call Requirements

• Approximately 5 days of call per month, rotating among seven trained RNs.
• Weekday call: 2:30 PM – 6:30 AM the following morning.
• Weekend call: Friday at 2:30 PM through Monday at 6:30 AM.
• Holiday call rotation is required.
• Must be able to respond and be ready for incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases.
• Must be available for shifts and call during the holiday period December 24, 2026 – January 4, 2027.
