Job Title: Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Rotating shifts – Days, Evenings, and Nights
Hours: 36 hours/week (3 × 12-hour shifts); 48 hours/week may be accommodated

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Must be able to scrub independently.
• Active New York Surgical Technologist license or NBSTSA certification, as applicable to the facility's requirements. Candidates with 10 years of qualifying experience may also be considered.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Operating Room experience in a Level I Trauma facility is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.

Experience in one or more of the following specialties is preferred:

• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• Plastic Surgery
• Urology
• Cardiac Surgery
• Neurology/Neurosurgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Ophthalmology
• Gynecology (GYN)
• Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
• Thoracic Surgery
• Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Trauma Surgery

Additional Preferred Experience

• Da Vinci robotic surgery.
• Liver, kidney, and heart transplant procedures.
