Position: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Little Rock, AR

Setting: Micro Hospital

Trauma Designation: None

Beds: 8 ED, 5 inpatient suits, 2 triage

Duration: 13-weeks

Compensation 

Travel Package: $2,578/week

*Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for travel package*

Position Details

Schedule: 

• 3x12s, night shift

Job Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for ED and inpatient patients
• Perform respiratory assessments and administer prescribed treatments
• Manage oxygen therapy, ventilators, and respiratory equipment as needed
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and code situations during night shift
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver quality patient care

Requirements

• Welcoming CRTs & RRTs!
• Active AR state license
• Minumum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapy
• Prior hospital experience is needed!

Unlike a large hospital, a micro-hospital offers lower patient volumes while still providing diverse acute-care experience. RTs can enjoy greater autonomy, work closely with physicians and nursing staff, and gain exposure to a variety of respiratory and emergency cases. Patients requiring highly specialized care are stabilized and transferred to larger facilities when appropriate.
