Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift

8- or 10-hour shifts; varied scheduling

Standard schedule

Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM

Required certification

BLS (AHA)

Job responsibilities

Provide intraoperative circulating nursing care; no sedation responsibilities.
Support procedures including:
- EGD (upper endoscopy)
- Colonoscopy
- ERCP and EUS
- EMR
- Hemorrhoid banding
Demonstrate knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment.
Work in a department with five procedure suites and a ratio of one RN per room.
Work alongside surgical technicians.
