Description

Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLS/MLT)

Schedule

Location: Millcreek, Utah
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 days on / 7 days off
Hours: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM per job description; job setup lists 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Call: Not required; optional if the traveler wants to take call.
Weekends: Every other weekend.
Floating: Specimen processing.

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of MLS or MLT experience.
Verifiable education and certification required.
ASCP MLS or MLT certification, or equivalent certification.
Experience performing laboratory testing in:
- Chemistry
- Hematology
- Coagulation
- Urinalysis
- Blood Bank
- Some Microbiology
Familiarity with Siemens Chemistry, System Hematology, IL Top 350, Beckman Coulter IRIS, and Ortho Vision preferred.

Required Documents / Certifications

Updated resume.
ASCP MLS or MLT certification (or equivalent).
Bachelor's or associate degree in medical laboratory science.
