Position: Registered Nurse (PCU – Progressive Care Unit)
Shift: 4x12-hour Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks (confirm if not specified)
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

1. Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience.
• IV Start experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Meditech charting experience required.
• Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.
• Must be willing to float to other units within scope of practice.
• Weekend rotation required.
• Must be available to work some holidays.
• No on-call requirement.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.

2. Schedule Details

• 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each.
• Day shift: 7 AM – 7 PM.
• 36 or 48 hours per week.
• No block scheduling beyond 3–4 consecutive shifts.
• Weekend rotation required.
• No guaranteed block scheduling.

4. Important Compliance Requirements

• QGold test only; must be completed within 24 hours after signing.
• Negative 13-panel drug screen within 30 days required.
• RTO must be approved and documented before assignment starts.
• Keep RTO to a minimum.
• Preferably no time off during the first two weeks.
• Avoid full calendar weeks off during the assignment.
• Must be willing to float if another unit is short-staffed.
• Some holiday coverage is expected.
