🏥 Travel Cath Lab Technologist

📍 Location: Bakersfield, CA
⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks | Start Date: October 30, 2026
💰 Weekly Pay: $4,526/week gross

Taxable Hourly Rate: $65/hr
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,666

🕐 Shift Details

Day Shift
10-hour or 12-hour shifts
40 hours per week
Call required: 1 weekday per week
Weekend call: 1 weekend per month, from Friday evening through Monday morning
Block scheduling available Friday–Sunday
Cerner charting
12 hours of orientation
1 opening available

📋 Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
Current Cath Lab experience required
ARRT, Fluoroscopy, and BLS certifications required
RCIS and CCT certifications are not accepted
Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural workflows, and airway management
Experience with cardiac drips, including Integrilin, Dopamine, and vasopressors
Balloon pump experience required
Experience with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro-interventional procedures
First-time travelers welcome

Unit Details

5 procedure suites:
- 2 primarily for coronary cases
- 1 for peripheral cases
- 1 for vascular and neuro cases
- 1 for EP cases
Approximately 10–22 cases per day across the department
Cases typically involve 2 technologists: one scrubbing and one monitoring hemodynamics
RN handles conscious sedation; an additional RN or tech may assist depending on the case
