Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
On-Call: Shared PACU on-call rotation
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – SSSU/PACU for a 13-week contract assignment starting November 30, 2026.
Candidates must have strong clinical skills and experience in the following areas:
- Pre-operative and Post-operative Nursing
- PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Phase II Recovery
- Endoscopy
- Infusion
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic.
- Provide nursing support for conscious sedation during special procedures as needed.
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and perioperative patient education.
- Monitor patients during pre-operative and post-operative phases.
- Recognize and appropriately respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
- Float between outpatient departments based on facility needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of SSSU/PACU/Pre-op/Post-op nursing experience required.
- Strong hands-on experience in PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion.
- Must be comfortable with a variable 4 × 10-hour schedule and shared PACU on-call rotation.
- Must hold an active state nursing license.
