Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist)
Facility Type/Setting: Hospital / Acute Care
Shift & Schedule: Days, 4×10-hour shifts, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting.
• Operating Room (OR) experience required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; AHA certifications only accepted.
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact license required at submission.
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted if they meet the required hospital experience.
• Two supervisor references preferred.
• Flu vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions accepted.
• COVID-19 vaccination not required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in hospital and outpatient settings.
• Obtain diagnostic images of various anatomical structures, including the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, and pelvis.
• Perform portable and bedside radiographic procedures.
• Assist with imaging procedures in the Operating Room using C-arm equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate for imaging procedures.
• Follow radiation safety protocols, infection prevention practices, and isolation precautions.
• Provide imaging services for patients across age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Float to other hospital departments or sister facilities as required.
