Description

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
Facility Type/Setting: Hospital / Interventional Radiology
Shift & Schedule: Days, 4×10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday; day off rotates
Weekly Hours: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience.
Scrub experience required.
Experience with Siemens imaging systems required.
ARRT Radiography certification must be obtained before submission.
Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license required; candidates may apply after receiving an offer and may start with a pending Kansas license.
New graduates are not accepted.
Preferred: 3 years of IR experience, large hospital experience, and peripheral and neurovascular procedure experience.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures.
Assist physicians and nurses during image-guided procedures.
Scrub for interventional radiology procedures.
Support peripheral vascular and other interventional procedures.
Handle imaging-related procedures for inpatient and outpatient services.
Assist with procedures involving areas from the neck down, with occasional light neurovascular overflow.
Support line-related procedures throughout the hospital.
Maintain safe and efficient workflow in a fast-paced, high-volume department.
