Description

Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic X-Ray Tech) – Rotating Shifts

Schedule: Rotating Shifts | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week (Sun – Sat Work Week)
- Schedule Structure: Variable 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts depending on department coverage needs; weekly schedule posted 4 weeks in advance. Candidate must be open and flexible to all shift lengths and rotations.
- Weekend Coverage: Must be available to work weekends as scheduled.
- On-Call / Standby: Call is not required, but voluntary call is available.
- Floating Protocol & Unit Details: Diagnostic Radiology / X-Ray Department. Float requirement: Required to float to secondary system sites as needed (will not float to more than one site in a single day). Service scope covers all patient age groups (neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric) across all diagnostic X-ray imaging modalities: Inpatient, Outpatient, Orthopedics, Operating Room (C-Arm), Fluoroscopy, and Portable X-Rays. Must be comfortable operating varied vendor X-ray equipment. EMR: Epic (experience preferred).

Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]:
- Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic X-Ray) experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Comprehensive Modality & Operating Room Competency: Direct hands-on proficiency in OR C-Arm imaging, Fluoroscopy, Portables, Orthopedics, Inpatient, and Outpatient diagnostic imaging strictly required [HARDSTOP]. Must be adaptable to multiple equipment vendors.
State Licensure & National Registry [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License strictly required IN-HAND at time of submission [HARDSTOP].
- Active ARRT (R) Radiography Certification strictly required IN-HAND at time of submission [HARDSTOP].
Certifications & Compliance [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
- Seasonal Influenza Vaccine compliance strictly required [HARDSTOP].
