Ascension Sacred Heart Bay is an acute care hospital in Bay County, Florida. The hospital has 202 private rooms and a broad range of services, including emergency services, heart surgery and interventional cardiology procedures, general surgery, and the area's only Trauma Center.

Chartered in 1949 as Memorial Hospital of Bay County, the hospital operated for many years as Bay Medical Center, a county-owned and operated facility. The hospital was fully acquired by Ascension in March 2019.

Job Requirements:<ul><li>Unit Experience: General Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.</li><li>Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.</li><li>Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.</li><li>Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.</li><li>Shift Length: Approximately 12.5 hours, including the shift's scheduled break period.</li></ul>Important Notes:<ul><li>Candidates should be comfortable working day shifts in a general Med-Surg unit.</li><li>Availability for the required weekend and holiday rotations is essential.</li><li>The contract duration is listed as 90 weeks; confirm this with the facility, as it is unusually long for a travel nursing assignment.</li></ul>
