Description
Monday- Friday 0700-1530 Phone triage skills, EPIC, Internal Medicine/Surgery/Pre-admission testing knowledge, good communication/computer skills
This is a 100% phone-based role.
The RN reviews patient charts and triages patients to ensure they meet the selection criteria for an outpatient surgery center based on anesthesia guidelines. They then contact patients to provide pre-procedure instructions, including medication guidance based on established protocols and guidelines.
The role may also involve coordinating communication between anesthesia providers and patients to determine whether a patient is appropriate for an outpatient setting.- Strong communication and phone presence with attention to detail Additional Role Overview :The following description may also help clarify the type of experience and responsibilities we’re looking for in a pre-admission RN: Patient Assessment: Review medical histories, clinical findings, and risk factors to determine patient readiness for surgery and suitability for admission. Care Planning: Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, following clinical guidelines and facility policies. \
