Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the Respiratory Therapy team at Samaritan Health Services. The therapist will provide respiratory treatment and diagnostic services to critically ill and non-critical patients across all age groups. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based respiratory care practices related to the cardiopulmonary system.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and treatment to patients across all age groups.
• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patients' cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed.
• Perform diagnostic procedures related to respiratory and cardiopulmonary function.
• Assist in managing patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Support critical care and non-critical care patients as needed.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Follow established clinical protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) – Required.
• Current Oregon Respiratory Care License – Required.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification – Required.
• Two years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care – Preferred.
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric patients – Preferred.

Additional Certifications – AGH Respiratory Therapy

The following certifications are required for AGH Respiratory Therapy:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
