Job Title: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) – Float Pool

Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Schedule & Hours:

• 48 hours per week (GWW).
• 36 guaranteed hours.
• Travelers may be downstaffed depending on weekly schedule.
• Holiday coverage required.

Unit Details:

• 32-bed, fast-paced Float Pool unit.
• Patient ratio: 1:6, may increase to 1:8.
• Must be willing to care for up to 8 patients.
• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics.
• Remote Tele monitoring.
• Floating to Medical-Surgical, Cardiology, Medicine, Orthopedics, Surgical, Neurology, and Oncology units.

Required Skills:

• IV insertion.
• PICC/Central line management.
• Vascular device access and care.
• Traction and CPM.
• Epidural/PCA pumps.
• Feeding tubes and Wound VAC.
• Remote Tele and Tele interpretation.
• CPAP/BiPAP and tracheostomy care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Active state RN license.
• BLS/BCLS certification.
• Current CEU documentation required during compliance.
• Meditech EMR experience.

Pay & Other Details:

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
• Overtime after 40 hours per week.
• OT rate: All-inclusive rate.
• Holiday rate: All-inclusive rate + $10.
• Call-back rate: All-inclusive rate + $10 (2-hour minimum).

• Pager/on-call rate: $5/hour.
