Description

Surgical Technologist / OR Tech

Location: Columbus, OH 43210
Department: UHT Surgery / OR Tech
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Surgical Technologist / OR Tech experience.
At least 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma OR experience, with Level I experience preferred.
Teaching hospital experience required.
Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred in the formal requirements. The job overview separately states Level I trauma experience is required, so confirm this with the account manager.
Previous travel experience preferred; the unit requires travel candidates.
Current BLS certification.
Experience with ophthalmology/eye procedures, Da Vinci Xi robotics, and liver transplant cases must be confirmed during candidate screening.
Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, instrument handling, sterilization, specimen handling, and surgical safety procedures.
