Local Surgical Technician (CST) – Labor & Delivery

Harbor-UCLA Medical Center | Los Angeles, CA

Join a high-acuity Labor & Delivery team at one of Los Angeles County's premier trauma facilities. We are seeking experienced Certified Surgical Technologists who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about supporting exceptional maternal and newborn care.

Assignment Details

Position: Surgical Technician (CST)
Location: Harbor-UCLA Medical Center
Unit: Labor & Delivery
Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Start Date: 11/05/2026
Openings: Multiple

Compensation

Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
Weekly Housing Stipend: $1,260
Additional travel package details available upon request.

Minimum Requirements

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA
Minimum 2 years of recent CST experience
Recent experience in a Level I Trauma Labor & Delivery unit
Current BLS certification
Current PALS certification

*Please Note: No requested time off (RTO) will be accepted for this assignment.

2-Step TB Test or T-Spot
Physical examination
Mask fit testing
MMR and titers
Hepatitis B documentation
County Live Scan
Professional references
Los Angeles County E2 packet
Badge photo
