Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program.
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac experience in a large hospital setting.
• RDCS and ARDMS certifications.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• All required licenses and certifications must be available at submission.
• New graduates are not accepted.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of electrocardiography, arrhythmias, and conduction disturbances.
• Knowledge of sterile technique.
• Knowledge of mathematical principles, including algebra.
• Ability to use a defibrillator and crash cart.
• Ability to effectively perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Ability to work effectively with critically ill or injured adult patients.
• Ability to gain optimal cooperation from adult patients.
• Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
• Ability to recognize and report equipment problems and malfunctions.
• Ability to perform basic clerical activities.
