Traveler Pay: $3,022 weekly ($40/hr. on w2 + $1582/week Stipend) for 36 hours.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Location: Massachusetts
Unit: 3 North
Shift: 12-Hour Days
Schedule: Every Other Weekend

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN to provide high-quality patient care on the 3 North Unit. The unit cares for a wide variety of surgical patients, along with medical patient overflow. The RN must be comfortable floating between all Med-Surg Telemetry units as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of recent acute-care Med-Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Massachusetts RN license required at submission.
• Epic experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong ECG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition skills.
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions accepted.
• Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months and in good standing.

Mandatory Pre-Acceptance Testing:

• ECG/Dysrhythmia Test: 20 questions.
• Medication Test: 20 questions.
• Minimum passing score: 85% on each test.
• Testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation via Zoom Protector.
• Only ONE attempt is allowed. No retakes or remediation.

Important Unit Information:
This unit does not have dedicated telemetry technicians. All RNs are responsible for independently reading and interpreting their own telemetry strips. Candidates must successfully pass both mandatory assessments before acceptance.

Submission Requirement: BILH coversheet is mandatory at the time of submission.
